Current Novel:

Cece Dufau has always struggled with anxiety. And, nearing thirty years old, she thought that was the worst of her problems.

Until she is visited by a half-demon, a cyber-warlock, and a golem who tell her she’s in danger.

Until a sexist dybbuk crawls out of Hell to kill her.

Until she finds out she’s the last daughter in a line of powerful women cursed to die.

To survive, she must control her new powers.

The problem? She struggles with anxiety and her powers only manifest when she’s confident.

About me…

I am a French-American author with a B.A. in Architecture from Barnard College of Columbia University, and an M.S. in Computational Design from Carnegie Mellon University. As a graduate student, I studied how design can mitigate online harassment in VR social spaces and prompted my interest in writing about characters who can physically fight sexism.

In Spring 2020, I was a mentee for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs. My mentor was Diana López, author of Confetti Girl.

I am based in Oakland, CA.
